PRE-EMINENT之主要成份之一為超重合燐酸鹽，與爐水中之鈣、鎂、鐵結合時將成乳膠狀物質，因而具效率防止碳酸鈣、鎂及硫酸鈣、鎂等之鍋垢之形成，又對已附著爐內之鍋垢，也因為該超重合燐酸鹽之強勁離子封(keelating)，而逐漸軟化解離至脫落，以便排出爐外PRE-EMINENT因具控制PH值之作用，以防止矽酸所形成之堅硬矽酸鈣鍋垢。
Prevention of Formation of Boiler Scales
PRE-EMINENT mainly consist of superpoly phosphate which blends with calcium, magnesium
and iron in the boiler water to form a latex substance. Therefore, it is highly effective in the
prevention of the forming of boiler scales caused by calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate,
calcium sulfate and magnesium carbonate. Due to the powerful ionic blocking strength of the superpoly
calcium carbonate, the scales will be softened, disolved and even stripped off for flushing out of the boiler.
Since PRE-EMINENT controls the PH level, it prevents the formation of boiler scales by hard calcium silicates.

PRE-EMINENT之另一主要成份為鹼劑，需依給水之水質、鍋爐之種類、回收水量等因素添加適量之酸鹼劑，後可控制爐水之PH，有效的抑制鐵之溶出量於最低限度，以確實達到最完善的防腐功能，亦因爐內經本劑之化學作用，而形成一層燐酸鐵之保護膜亦使防蝕作用達到盡善盡美。又因具有防止氧化鐵沈積於爐內，而形成爐內鐵皮之局部氧化呈孔蝕(pitching)。
Erosion Prevention
The alkaline agent is one of the primary features of PRE-EMINENT. In order to control the PH level of boiler water
and to cut rust, it is important to put the proper amount of acidic and alkaline agents according to the water quality,
the category of boiler and the amount of water cirulation, etc. This will guarantee optimal erosion prevention. Moreover, the
treatment guards against the deposit of ferric oxide, which is apt to produce pitting which result from regional oxidization of
iron within the boiler.

PRE-EMINENT contains agents which prevent excessive alkalinity in order to avoid the problem of acute crispness. It is formulated

Prevention of Bubbling and Carry-Over
Excessive alkalinity and general solidification in boiler water is the primary cause of cold water carry-over. By using PRE-EMINENT
, the alkalinity may be properly adjusted. An occasional blow will also help to overcome the problem.

Prevention of Oxidization and Deoxidizant
Because PRE-EMINENT contains a super- concentrated deoxidizer, powerful removes the remaining oxygen inside the boiler to
protect the wall from oxidization which eventually results in overall erosion.
